clutch swap: can i put a gsr clutch in place of d16 stock??

my '97 civic has 132,000 miles on it with the original clutch. i have been looking at different clutches to replace it with. my friend has a spare gsr clutch that he said i could have it it fits. has anyone done this swap before?
