Default throttlebody bypass

I've searched and cant find anything on it, i've heard about people removing the coolant lines going to the throttle body, it's supposed to be for helping to warm the engine up when its cold outside but can be removed, anyone done it?

wow i did a quick search and found a bunch of threads

use the search newb, and btw, it doesn't really do that much. the gains are minimal
