OE SAFC numbers
just hooked up a VAFC for the SAFC functions until i can do the Vtec head swap. can someone gimme some OE numbers to start with? just so i can get it to a dyno?
10-4 hmm.. guess i need to call someone... found a guy that will do three runs and tune the VAFC for $50. hehe... i love workin at advance auto parts
yeah... thats all i want until i get the Vtec head swap done. by then though... i will need a better tune because of the head and motor work that will have been done.... sumthin else.. does the VAFC and SAFC advance or retard timing at all? because i see the correction option but i am not sure what its for.

yes, it does. But only as a side effect.

everything you can adjust on a vafc/safc is all fuel based. But as i said, it does have its side effects. Thats why afc's are HORRIBLE to tune with on turbo cars.

Go into fueling and....
up up down down left right left right b a b a select start.
Every engine is different and plenty of outside factors can effect your a/f ratio's. You need to tune it specifically for your set-up. So have it dyno/street tuned. If you decide to play with it yourself you will need a wideband 02 sensor in order to get optimal results.
