Hi there,

I need a new plug for my engine harness where it plugs into the alternator. I purchased a used 92-95 Civic alternator, and the plug where it attaches to the engine harness if a 4 pin SQUARE plug. My engine harness has a round plug, and I really desperately want to use this alternator.

I know the OBD2 alternators (96-00) have a square plug, but that plug is a 3 pin plug. I need a 4 pin one. I need it with about 3-4 inches of wire, and no I don't really want to spend a bundle of dollars buying a complete engine harness. I'm looking for someone who has an already cut up harness who can cut off the plug for me.

Let me know what you have.

 

I have a 4 wire round plug, is that what you need? Its for a obd-1 B-series alternator.

No, I need a 4 wire square plug. Thanks though.

 

OK, turns out the 4 pin square plug I need is actually an OBD2 alternator plug, so if anyone has a hacked up OBD2 engine harness, and they want to sell me the alternator plug, let me know.
