usually just a laptop with a program on it like crome, uberdata, hondata, etc. If you're talking about how the plug that hooks the laptop up to the ECU I'm not sure, you might want to be a bit more specific :-\

I think both of them have "sets" of the parts you need to start chipping, though I'm not sure, search around, I know some sites that chip ECU's sell the equipment to DIY

damn...thats nice and cheap...are you sure this would get the job done for them p28 chips....so why would someone spend so much money on another one?
Did you buy it from that same guy and recieved it in good condition? just kinda worried about that one since its coming from BFE...you dont have any errors or nothing while burning
