Body kit is needed badly!!! I have a 01 2 door and i could careless if it is used, just tryin to find a full kit under 300 dollars. Ebay is no cheaper than 350 with shipping so just trying to save some money.... Please anyone let me know if you have an offer of any kind.... I am in the ohio/cleveland area. I can drive up to around 300 miles to get it.

Dont get an E-Crap kit. Go Honda OEM, and make it look clean, so you wont get flamed by everybody that sees it.

If youre going to do mods, do them right so it has both form and function.

But do what you want. It's your car.

Theres plenty of EM2's here with OEM style kits and lips, with a decent 1.0-2.0 drop and they look sick.

don't get a bodykit. all you need is a lip and some sideskirts.

If i were you i probably be spending my $300 on the engine not a body kit that doesnt do anything but that just my opion im not trying to diss you our body kits i just rather have a fast *** car the looks stock and creeps up on a mustang and dominates it. dotn get me wrong i like body kits but the engine is more important to me

 

well i just ordered the kit yesterday....i'll show you all pics after i put in on when i get it....i understand saying doing stuff to the engine instead..but thats not me i'm more of a show person...plus i dont have a vtech lol...

 

It's "Vtec", but regardless of whether or not you have one, it's a matter of can you buy one. Honda's have probably one of the easiest engine swapping structures out of any automobile manufacturer. You could have easily bought a K20, or atleast an EX head, and swapped for Vtec.

In my opinion, you wasted your money.

 

So the EX head is the vtec head then? You guys have loads of different models!

(UK only ever got the vtec version and they aren't called EX. They aren't actually called anything, now i think about it...)

 

EX, LX, DX, GX, HX, SE, and VP for the 2001-2005 non-hatch Civic's, in the US.

and ive never had/prob never will have a 01-05 but i can tell you 300 dollars dont do **** to your engines, and a 300 dollar body kit is a little different than a 4000 dollar type s swap plus 2500 dolllars worth of parts to make it work


and seriousley that snapping at people about "its vtec not vtech you super un-jdm ******" that stuff is so old, what like 98+ percent of you guys are but *** slow in this forum so vtec or v-tec or vtech or v-tech no matter how you spell it its not gonna change your 25 second 1/4 mile

 

Regardless of what you think you can do with a 7th gen, there are plenty of examples where money could be put towards easy horsepower, by way of a cheap turbo setup. There is such a thing as junkyard building, you know. I've seen a D17 push out just about 220hp at the wheels, with no more than 500 dollars spent on the car. I know that's not a huge number, but for a budget, that's fantastic.

Man FullRaceHonda has something stuck up his *** lol. You know what man i could careless what you think of body kits or what you think of my car or how i spell v-tec. I am not about speed or racing. Just because i have a Honda Civic doesn't mean i have to put a turbo in it or does it mean i should put 6500 dollars into it just for a new motor. Sorry dude but i dont have a lot of money. I have alot of bills to pay and am looking to go to college and trying to work full time after i JUST got out of high school. So go ahead dude bitch just because every Honda isn't going to look or drive the way you want it to. I am going to make my car look and drive the way i want it to and if you like it or not i could careless, but i still have no problem doing it even if the whole world hated it. I am fine with a complete stock non v-tec 1.7 Liter engine running 16.8 1/4 mile time.

And for some reason there are a lot of people who like to jump on other peeps on this site instead of just helping like this forum was set up to do. Although I also think the kit is a waste of money for you, but since your asking what kit to get... I like the xenon or Wings West G5 kit. Not sure if you can get it for the price you want but check it out!

 

Make sure you put a big wing on your car too ooo and the lambo door kit!!!

A good paint job is often times more expensive than a cheapo kit, then the kit cracks and you're out $$ for both.

Or you could not paint and look super ghetto.

 

yea actually i will paint it i dont plan on doing it ghetto. I know how to paint i'm not retarded, i've painted cars before i'm not no rook. But everyone that puts turbos and cold air intakes and other modifications to their car that makes their car quicker, thinks that body modifications and the people that do them are the most retarded things in the world. well im sorry... every time i see some dude driving around with a body kit that isnt painted or, bondo all over there car is ******* retarded... I mean common... Some body kits can be clean, but most of them are freaking wack... I was working in a shop and this dude brought us a body kit for his 2000 si. It was only a bumper and side skirt, but I swear, i took off the OEM front bumper and tried to line up his new bumper... Holy shiets... that thing had a 1-2in gaps all over the place... Just makes sure your kit doesnt scream rice, and just do it right and make it clean. Dont go cheapo on that ****
