Greetings.

I am new to the world of turbo charging, so please excuse my ignorance.

I have a 91 CRXsi. It has 191,000kms on it and stiff purrs like a kitten. I am also running an intake, hedders, and 2.25" custom exhaust.

I want to start a home made turbo project. (Yes I have visited that website, but I need opinions here) Basically, I don't want to run insane amounts of boost on my engine. (Its old and I need a new one) I basically want some more torque and midrange on my otherwise old and stock engine.

Can any of you guys reccomend a used turbo that I can try out (and fit without too much effort). I will also need to know what a nice amount of boost I can play with, without heavy modification to my engine. I am prepared to do a fuel delivery upgrade, as well as the other little things. So in a nutshell, I want the power equivilent of a 50-shot nitrous, but coming from a DIY turbo.

I considered supercharging, but I could never find one on a budget.
