Default so i spun a bearing

crank is scared but the rods do not look that dammaged, other than getting hot, can i reuse them?
has anyone reused rods before?

they sometimes warp from getting too hot. take them to a machine shop so they can check them out, then if nesesarry get the big end resized.

IMO, replacing the rod is the best option. Individually they are inexpensive(Eagles are like $100 shipped ea.) and the piece of mind you'll have is worth the cost.

Spun bearing(s)= Replace crank and affected rod(s).

The rods probably only have heat marks on them ...but most likely there out of round....i spun bearings with eagle rods and all four were out of round but i had them resurfaced and put back to oem spec (in roundness)....for using oem bearings...it only cost me 75$ at a machine shop....and after that they...took 9k rpm like a champ...never had a problem again.
