Default Building a B20 motor

I'm building a B20 vtec motor with a b16 head, running with 11:1 arias pistons.
What exhaust size and t/b size sould i run for optimum performance???

Will there be a big difference in performance between skunk2s1 and BC spec3, have a set of s2s1 don't want to buy other cams if it not necessary.

Thanks guys

Std B20 block with Arias 11:1 comp and ARP headstuds and rod bolts.
B16 head, omni valves, comp cams springs and retainers with Blox intake and 370 RC injectors. MSD Blaster2 coil...

Hope it helps???

your intake manifold is too small...get a JG one. ditch the ignition junk...you won't need it. what cams u running? use Blox B cams. get a nice RMF, SMS or Hytec header with that setup as well.

We tuned a similar setup to what you are doing. You can make a lot more power if you run a better header (ie: DTR/SSR 2.0L...etc).

Pretty simple. Skunk2 Stage 2's are the same as Blox B's btw. So to give you an idea....

Yea, you can sell that ignition. Stock Honda will be good up to 300?hp or so. I don't personally agree with the JG for allmotor. It's a bit large and better suited for FI applications IMO.

BC3+ is a midrange cam. They pretty much die around 8000. Skunk2S1's are underrated if you ask me. But you'll probably want something bigger

Witch will work better up to 8500 rpm Blox B or BC Spec3's... without sacraficeing driveability.

Should I rather go for the JG than blox??? Any other suggestions???

The way I understand it is that their are 2 different hytec headers one for the B16 and one for the B20 motors, but the one for the B20 is for a full race setup is that true witch one will work for my setup?

What exhaust size and t/b size sould i run for optimum performance???

The Blox B will kill the BC3 past 7k.

The JG IM is better than the Blox IM.

John @ HyTech can make you whatever you want. He makes production 1.6, 1.8, and 2.0L header's.

I would opt for a DTR (SSR) header, we have tested them a lot here and found they make more power than RMF and HyTech.

You want 2.5" header collector, to 2.5" straight exhaust.

TB should be in the 68mm range, but must be port matched to the IM.

I run a similar setup on my daily driver. I'd reccomend the Blox3's(jun3) cams. I run the full omnipower valvetrain and its held well for over 20k miles so far. A simple intake manifold/tb combo works best for a street car. Look into a ported itr mani from hookups(www.hookupsimporttek.com) and something like a 65mm throttle body for some good midrange. I've dyno'd with only a peak of 208whp and 150tq with the midrange as my main target. The car is driven daily has plenty of response and it moves pretty decent. On pump gas through the exhaust on my 91 crx it runs 12.6@108 on bfg radials.
