Default Help with Clutch - Possible Problem

Over the last week or so I've noticed a strange "quick notchy, jumpy" feeling coming through the clutch pedal as it is released. It doesn't feel like the clutch is slipping (I've run some tests recommended by some people here) but the feeling in the pedal is starting to concern me..

Any suggestions what it could be?

Yea I got the same thing. Either like Will said, or possibly a PP spring is loose?

Sorry, yes - it is the original clutch. It isn't making any noise.

If you mean it's kind of grabby, but uneven, when you launch, then it sounds like what mine did when it failed. Do you have any trouble shifting? Mine didn't want to shift easily above about 3k revs, because the clutch wasn't disengaging -- I could shift at higher revs if I matched them, like you have to do to shift without using the clutch at all.

When they took the clutch out, there was a broken spring retainer on the disc. That was the second OE clutch that failed on me by breaking off a piece of the disc. The first one had kind of different symptoms though -- most of the time I couldn't get it disengaged.

Both times, it was less than a day from the onset of symptoms to complete failure -- it's not something that comes and goes. When the piece breaks off, it's broken -- symptoms vary as the piece moves around in there.
