magnetic decals
i've seen some cars on here with some nice magnetic decals for when you go racing. i tried making some with some magnetic material i bought from micheal's (arts and crafts store), but my lettering came out all crooked and wired shaped. i was just wondering where you guys have bought your lettering from and how much it cost you? or are people just really good with the magnetic material and some scissors?
TIA
and yes i did search on google and didn't find what i was looking for

yes i am talking about numbers for auto-x. i hate decals on daily drivers! i tried cutting out a "85" of that magnetic material and it looked like ****, so i'm just trying to find some for sale that you can actually read and look good too.

I made mine from one of those 24x12 sheets of white vinyl. I just setup the letters on my computer...printed them out...cut them out...taped them to the mag sheet...cut around the edges with exacto knife then applied black vinyl to them. Just take your time and they'll turn out good.
They even hold up well in the rain...haha.

Here is a shot of my car at autocross. All decals are magnetic. I simply printed the numbers off on my computer and used them to trace onto the 2mm white magnetic material. The stickers are simply stuck on the magnetic material and trimmed. Turned out really well, you just need some patience and sharp exacto's and a good pair of scissors!
