I've got a TWM short throw kit, it won't change the overall height of the shift stick, but it drastically shortens the throw distance.

i went with Revo SS with new bushings. Took about 30-45mins as well, very easy install. Revo shorted my shifter length by maybe 2inches and my throws by about 30%. I love it. Got it for only $75 canadian with the bushings, best $75 ive spent on my 7thgen

That's what my TWM model did. I'm quite happy with it.

I didn't break anything vital to the shifting mechanism. I only snapped the four weld points on the nut holding the front right corner of the shift pod down. It's all good, though. I have since welded it. When I get a day where I'm not completely busy at work or at school, I'll post up the pictures.
