Default shifting problems

I've been having some shifting issues. First my tranny starts grinding at high rpms in 3rd n 4th then that goes away now it wont go into any gears unless i shut off my car and put into gear then when i do that n start my car it shakes wildly and my car moves forward with clutch pedal press all the way down. and when it does go into gear its very difficult to shift into or car dies. HELP PLZ

ok, it sounds like you need a new clutch. cost varies from $350-$500 not including labor fee's.......... a quick fix, would be to learn to shift with your rpms.....

clutch isn't fully disengaging....either clutch assembly is bad or check the hydraulic components. Do you have normal pedal movement? Check the fluid level in the resevoir next to the master cylinder.

you can get exedy OEM replacements for much cheaper than that. try gripforce.com or clutchcityonline.com. they both cell the Exedy OEM clutch kit which includes the clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing for around $120.

Clutch movement is pretty normal engages slightly lower than b4 (professionally installed)

Clutch master cylinder fluid level is fine but its black for some reason. I'm wondering if it could be my clutch master or slave cylinder.

If its black it may have been in there too long and POSSIBLY may have ruined your seals. Although with ruined seals your clutch would work and then slowly engage as fluid leaks by the seals.
