I'm sure someone has. You can do anything with fiberglass.

Personally I got rid of my space and put my amps/sub in the sparewell

You can even do it with MDF. I made an even more complex box for my accord out of MDF. As the other poster said, you can do anything with fiberglass, but it takes a lot of time and money. I just started working on a 'glass box. I already threw in $20 for materials, but the box isn't even 1/8 done.

Pics? I'm curious.

As for fiberglass, yeah it's expensive, but imo it's worth it.

Really good actually. That box is ~2 cu ft. But with only 800 wrms from the amp, I'm using about half of the sub's excursion before clipping the amp. Still, loud as hell. The fiberglass box I'm working on right now will be ~4 cu ft, which should get me an extra 4 db at 20 hz.

I love the amp and for the price of the sub no complaints here. and i'm about to get a set of memphis componets to replace my mb quarts. I love having a single amp. In my past 6 cars i had two ppi art series amps that were like almost two ft long a piece and two audio control crossovers, now it's just one sub and one amp not as loud as the other system but loud enough.

the box is fiberglass

I do, but the big box is mostly for efficiency.

Same as the one in the pics. The 'glass box extends all the way to the front of the trunk and out towards the middle a little more than the pictured one. If I get around to pulling the fiberglass form out of the trunk today, I will post pics.

the rears are gonna be ran off the radio just loud enough for people in the back to hear, but not loud enough to hear up front. the 4 channels on the amp are going to be used on my fronts to bi amp the componet set for more adjustability. And the 5th channel for the subs.
