i know noone likes rotas and they are not jdm and they are inferior to every other JDM wheel but.....my dad bought a set of rota circuit 8s bronze 15x6.5 38mm offset......my question is on the inside of the wheel mounting flange there is a stamp for the bolt pattern.....oh yeah these are on a 93 civic hatch 4x100...but on the inside its stamped for the dual pattern but the bolt patterns are the same..lol both fit i figured that 4x114.3 WOULD NOT FIT at all so i didnt worry about having it mixed up.. any one ever seen that??

i figured 14.3mm is like close to 1/2 inch so i could tell if the other bolt pattern was different but they both slide right on and the lugs seat and everything.....i dunno

 

Can you post up pics of the rims? I gotta see this, cuz it sounds unusual.

its weird they are stamped 114.3pcd and straight across from that hole it says 100pcd lol

 

How much bigger are the holes than your studs? I would bust out your digital capliper and measure the patters to really figure out what's going on. One edge to another edge.

not much the lugnuts seat on both patterns, im going to tonight after work

 

but what does the actual rim sticker say on the back of the rims? a lot of wheel manufacturers use the same mold and then drill the bolt patterns afterwards...just measure the bolt pattern like this :



114.3mm = 4.5 inches and

100mm= 4 inches

someone in the EG forum said that they have a set thats 8x100 too and they just take the dual pattern and drill em different i dunno ill get pix when i can

my c8s are 8x100

 

i think only the 15" c8's are 8x100. i had some 16x7 c8's and they were 4x100 and 4x114. the rota auto x is also 8x100.
