Ok, I ended up picking up a Concept in-dash dvd/cd player w/ 6.8" screen the other day for a cheap price. I hooked it up today, and I have a couple of questions.

First off, with the e-brake wire to play dvd's, I just grounded it out, but I still don't get anything on the screen. When I take the wire off the ground, it gives me the whole "Must have e-brake in use to view". When I connect it back, just a black screen.

Second off, the unit won't let me use my subs at all. The amp has power, remote, ground, and power are hooked up correctly. The brain box has a bunch of different rca outputs. I believe they are for aux1, aux2, preamp, and 2 sets for the regular speakers in the car. I tried hooking the rca's for the sub amp into various ones, but nothing.

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with Concept dvd players and knew what could be wrong. Thanks.

Thanks man. I'm gonna call the guy I bought it off of here in a little bit. Luckily, I only paid half of the money for it right now, so if something is f'd up, I can get my cash back and buy a better in-dash

 

n/m, took the headunit apart, fixed some stuff, and now it works perfectly
