Default What ECU setup for spec b's with high compression b18c motor.

My buddy is putting his motor together this month. b18c, 12:1 pistons, skunk2 intake manifold, cam gears etc.. as far as electronics, so far he has stock ecu and apex vafc. what is the best set up he can use to get the most out of these cams in term of an ECU?

Hondata, Power FC...

Something standalone.

Hondata or Power FC is good. Get the one that you can get the most local support.

Hondata, so you can hook up your laptop and see when manifold pressures reach dangerous levels!

Talk to Greg Samaroo(CHEETAH). He has some good programs.
He loves his spec B's so much he takes them to bed with him at night.

Nah, seriously. His program kicked *** on the car I tuned w/ B's.

lol, thanks for the plug MikeK !!!

jimmyD, just need the obd1 ecu you have and list of mods on the car, i.e. pistons, compression, fuel octane available in your area, and header being used, and intake manifold.

mikeK, I sleep with something else Toda related under my pillow
