Default car running hot

Ok so i have a 93 vx with a b16a. It hasnt overheated, but its gotten to 3/4 of the way on the gauge. As long as ive had the heater on its only been going to just about below the half-way mark. I replaced the stock fan after it crapped out with a thin-line, which now works but im still having the problem. Im not losing coolant, and i bled the system after i changed the fan. The upper Rad hose is hot so i thinking maybe the thermostat is stuck half way? Imma try flushing the system and replacing the t-stat, but does anybody have any suggestions.thanks.

top hose hot, bottom not? sounds like tstat or water pump. test the tstat first.

it could also be very possible that you have a radiator that can not cool effectively anymore. the flush may help, remove the tstat and reverse flush the system with the heater valve opened.

try the bleeder valve... release the un nessasary air from the system...

my freind was runngin hot... was just some air bubbles

1. remove the radiator cap w car off
2. start car

3. rev engine and watch the bubbles erupt from ur radiator... or use the bleeder valve i think is ontop of the upper hose close to the block

air pockets create false readings
