Would you rather have a intercooler with a smaller core size and a 2.5" inlet/outlet, or an intercooler with a larger core size and a 2" inlet/outlet. I know it sounds stupid, but thats what I keep finding on ebay.

Larger core and smaller pipes. if the pipes are too big it would increase the turbo lag (more volume of air needed to be compressed). Of course, it would also make your blowoff valve more blow-offey, if that's your kind of thing.

Are your intake pipes 2.5"? Are those custom or did they come with a kit?

Im lost, Im going to be using 2.5" charge pipes for sure, im just stuck deciding weather i want a smaller core with 2.5" inlet/outlet or a bigger core with a 2"inlet.outlet

What would some of you do? Can i buy the 2" one and make the diameter bigger? I have this tool i used for my exhaust piping where it makes the diameter of a pipe larger, will this work on a intercooler? really need some advice, looking to buy all my stuff very soon.

Seems like a bad idea for aluminum.
