Default question for those working in the 12V industry, installer sales etc....

Anyone ever work for (or currently) a store that carried Memphis Audio.

At that does anyone have any working expereince with the product. I've worked with a lot of brands, but not a lot of Memphis.

I would love to hear comments on both the equipment, and the company. Any expereinces you may have had.

I do realize that Memphis isn't the top dog out there, I just want to learn more about the company in general.

Thanks in Advance

Memphis Audio is in the middle of the pack as far as equipment. I have used some of their product and IMO its so-so. Nothing to impressive but then again I have not used all thier products. They are not as big a company as JL, Alpine or Pionner but that is who they try and compete with.

my local shop carries them and diamond. IMO diamond is louder and cleaner, but the memphis can pound.. thats for subs though.. i've never heard the speakers.

I've only worked with their amps, but it was 3-4 years ago.

anyone work for a store that carried them? how's their company support, tech support, repair process stocking

good to hear their subs aren't bad. It's hard to compete agains the big dogs, they've got such an established foothold on the market. And trying to keep up with their R&D, and new product abilities can be daunting for a smaller company. as well as a relatively younger company.
