I was wondering if i have LSD. i tried jacking up the car when the motor is off. i spin the wheel in neutral and only one wheel spin and thats the wheel iam spinning, next i tried is i put it in first gear motor is off, i spin one wheel the other wheel spin opposite,last i tried starting the motor and putting it in first gear both wheel spin really fast. I was thinking if i tranny doesnt have LSD then only 1 wheel should spin while in first gear reving.

you dont have one.

 

heres a clear way to tell. jack up the front, remove wheels and to all the necessary steps to take out the axels. once the axels are out, look through the tranny were the axels came out. if you see all the way through fine with nothing in the way, you HAVE lsd. if there is something in the way, or anything abstructing your view, you DONT have it. got it. good luck.

 

I know about that but i want to know by just jacking up the car, any more clue how to know if a tranny has lsd???

do a burnout!
1 tire = no LSD
2 tires = LSD

if you cant burnout use bleach or old oil and pour a little on the ground, drive over it and try again. Plus there will be a lot more smoke too. hehe
