my stock in dash temp guage has stopped working. the only possible thing that i can think of as the cause is the fast that my tps wire's polarity is reversed. this was done for mpfi swap. any ideas?

 

i have the same problem.. if i drive it for a while, it will move a little(doesnt even make it to the white line) but then drops back down.

Idont know what to tell you man you got me?????? just like I got everyone noone can figure this out....how do you tell what year tranny you have without taking it apart? cant figure it out

 

Have you checked the circut board on the back of the cluster?? I had a problem with mine a while back and that was it. Just a thought, hope it works out.

 

not it. im thinking its the coolent temp sensor. where is it located on the std block? si's have em on the left side of the head i believe near thermostat houseing. not there on a d15b1 tho. should have only one wire going to it
