Default b20z and b20b

yea i was j/w...i know that between a b20b and b20z...b20z are better...higher compression...but nowadayz it's hard to find b20z...even a b20b with knock sensor which have the same compression 140hp...so far i've only been finding b20b without knock senors...but one thing i would like to know is that...b20b without knock sensors...can you just slap a gsr head to it...change the internals and tune it up with aftermarket parts to make it as strong as a tuned gsr head b20z motor?...or is the b20z still better?...i mean isn't the block the same just that the internals are different?

can anybody answer this? ...cuz im thinking about a b20 vtec..but don't know if the two b20's tuned up will be the same...or will one (b20z block) will still be better than the other (b20b without sensor)?

the question is ...between a b20z and b20b...is the compression ratio...but by changing the pistons...will it really make a difference in power..if you tune it up the same?....
