Default Obd-2a to 0bd-1 harness...Need to change my distributor?

I rencently coverterted my 97 gs to obd-1 so I could run it on Crome. I keep getting a TDC sensor check engine light however. The car sounds like its missing a bit at idle, but other than that its fine. Do I need an Obd-1 distributor to clear the code? Ive put in 2 rebuilt distributors recently and the code still came up?

No. You can use the OBD2 distributor with no issues. Who did you buy the harness from?

i've seen a few people have issues with running an OBDII distributor and throwing codes and i dont know why because lots of people, including myself, tune with crome and use an OBDII dizzy
