D15B2 are worth 100$ with around 100-150XXXkms on them. 1600$ is a rip off. If you lived close I'd do it for 300-400$ overnight, not including price of engine, but I could get you one haha.

get a used DX head and put it on, along with new timing belt - used DX heads are a dime a dozen

Just get a new D15B2 and go an engine swap. It's so simple. And your car only needs 1 header, you can take the other ones back.

...headers...

A single cam V-tec head either z6 y8 or zc single cam vtec head and then the timing belt that goes with it, thats pretty much it along with anything else you would need for head gasket

You can't do a DOHC had swap, and you match the timing belt to the head, however I believe the y8 is wierd and you also need the water pump and crank gear to match I think it has a wierd toothed timing belt or just an adjustable cam gear I'm in PA and have a spar a6 head I just want to get rid of along with intake mani and dizzy so you could swap to MPFI pm me if you are intereested
