Stereo won't turn on
I have an 02 Honda Accord ex. I also have a stock 6 disc cd player and the other day one of the cds got stuck. I took it to honda and to get the stupid thing out and they were going to charge me over $300 to get it fixed. I asked someone to help me out and we took the entire stereo out of the dash, got the cd out, and when we put the stereo back in the dash, it wouldn't work. Not even the radio works anymore. I have absolutely no music now and my power outlet isn't working anymore either. Any suggestions on what to do to fix it? Any advice is appreciated.
Start with the simple things, check the fuse, check the connectors in the back. If you disconnected it there may be something you will need to do to get the radio working again. I know in my 97 Accord if I put the stock stereo back in I will need to put in the security code for it to work. Don't know if my suggestions will help but I'd say they are worth a try. I'd certainly check your wiring though.
Ditto the above, check the fuses, there are 2 for the HU, one is the acc., [in under dash fuse box] the other is a constant power, [normally found in under hood fuse box] not sure where it is in your car
