Well i just got tuned. I have a problem with my clutch. When the car is off it will go in gear. when the car is on and you step on the clutch it wont let you put it in gear. Also i'm idling really low at like 300 rpm and i'm hearing noises from the cam gears i believe. my compression is semi high so they said they would retard the timing from 1-3k rpm. will this affect the idle? valve issues?

You have a leak in your clutch line, I bet.

My buddy with an ITR had the same problem. Turned out to be his clutch slave cylinder. It was leaking badly.

 

12-1. any other ideas? could it be the clutch master cylinder?

Agreed, check under the dash, left of the clutch pedal for oil.

have someone pump the clutch pedal and u look 4 the leak\
common leak is at the slave cylinder (lift the piston cover)

i don t think ur car will run at 300rpm
raise the idle with the idle screw on the throttle body

 

if there is a leak will there still be a lot of pressure.
