you can mix but i would DEFFINATELY not reccomend using all gm synchromesh. it is too thin for honda gearboxs

1/2q synchromesh 1.75 10w30 or honda mtf

or try synthetic 10w30

yeah but for how long can u run it?????

our synchros NEED thick oil, viscocity rating is TOO low with synchromesh alone. DONT run it by itself. light weight oils in our b/h/d/k transmissions are the number one reason for premature syncho failure!!!!!!

mix it it will help...

the only reason the gm stuff gets rid of grinding is b/c its able to better lubricate while the oil is still cold. once it gets hot the metal softens up and the synchros start to wear out and the grinding will stop b/c the light lube and the soft hot synchro surface

with regular 10w/30 or honda mtf if it will grind while the oil is still cold and will go away as soon as it becomes more fluid and the thicker oil sticks to the synchros much better.

lucas trans fluid would be a good lubricant but it has a high tendeancy to foam up

just stick with what i posted above
10w/30 reg. or syn. and mix it with alil synchromesh

go with redline synthetic MTL - its a 10w30 and formulated for high temp and fast shifting. I have some in my GSR and i just autox occasionally. works good for me
