I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not you get any extra power if you take the butterfly valves out of the intake manifold??

^well those butterflys open up during high rpms
so taking them off is just like them opening in the high rpms....
they close on lower rpms. so if they are left open all the time, its not optimal and you will lose power
