i am buying a black 91 crx... i was wondering if i should buy a lip for the front or some body kit or something becuase stock dx looks like poo. if you have any pics please show me b/c i am new to rex's and i want to make the front bumper look bettter. also wut about a rear lip i found on ebay. thx

get a factory Si lip, its a nice touch

 

Its really up to you. I think the OEM honda lip looks the best. The only body kit IMO that looks decent is the Wings West or the Xenon.

 

If you got around $1000 extra, i would just go for the JDM siR front end

 

get a stock si/hf lip from honda they look nice

 

yea unless your car is gonna sit around, dont get a body kit they are two fragile one tiny wrong dip and its shot, unless you get urethane that doesnt really hold paint to well.... For quality i would say that you should go with the stock bumpers from an si, or like they said get the jdm sir front end

I dont think he was asking to be told exactly what to get.
I believe he wanted opinions/ideas for a variation in his options for body styling.
And nobody included pics for the kid, common now people this is your chance to show off your rides!

IMO the JDM Front End is the best.
You don't need any additional parts for the rest of the car, and it makes the CRX look meaner without a lame cliche body kit (thats cheaply made, as noted above)
My old CRX with JDM Front End and JDM Lip:





If I were to get a kit, I'd piece one together with the new imitation JDM Mugen front bumper and get the WW sideskirts, door caps, and rear bumper.
Then you have a real Mugen knock off, not the lame WW one.
But, you still have to have the JDM Hood, Headlights and bumper support to put on the JDM knock off Front End.
