Ok couple of days ago I went to open my trunk and the lever needed to be pulled a little harder and it seemed weird. But it opened and when I went to close it, it will not latch it self. So now its basically not locking it self and the trunk light on the dash is on all the time.

This a common problem?? How do I fix it?

 

Check the latch. It maybe frozen or stuck in the open position.

 

Ok will do. Seems like a good amount of plastic panels to remove to check it. It does seem like it is just staying in the open position.

 

there is only 1 plastic panel that needs to be removed unless you include the little plastic access things
