only getting spark to one cylinder

Default only getting spark to one cylinder

hey HT.. i just got everything all done with my b16a swap in my 91 hatch.. just put the wireing harness back in the car that i sent to rywire for DPFI to MPFI....went to start it and its only getting spark to cylinder #1... we replaced wires, cap, and was going to do a new rotar but the auto store didnt have one in so we cleanded the one i had up.. they told me it looked fine to begine with.. still only gets spark to one cylinder

what should i do???

Whats up...

Was it a b16a obd0? So you had 8 wires that you have to pin into the ecu, correct? Make sure you are looking at the ecu pinout instructions the right way. If you have a volt meter, check each wire back to the ecu and put them in order. Make sure the added dizzy wires are connected as well(blue and purple). PM or call for more tips.

yes it is obd0.. i just called peter he said the same thing...im going to check it in a few.. other wise i couldnt have been happyer with how easy you guys made it for me to get the harness ready..

Peter sent you the link with the instructions, correct? It has a pic, so it should be fairly simple.

I was telling you to continuity check the wires so you can pinpoint which wire is which. Basically you are adding 2 injectors because the dx only had 2 from the start. The wires you need to add are the red and yellow. You will also add vtec, vtec oil, knock, 2nd o2, and the 2 wires for the dizzy that your car never had.

i never got a pic with the harness i called him and he told me where everything went.. im thinking im going to get a whole new dizzy and see if that works.. we double checked were he told me to pin those 8 wires and they look fine

alright turns out that one of the TDC wires on the ecu pin c3. the wire had a braek in it some were.. i have to thank peter and ryan from rywire for guiding me threw and figureing out that bad wire.. everything they did on my dpfi to mpfi harness is right so i now have spark to all 4 cylinders again
