because they pretty much the same as the skunk pro 1 and they make better top end power. easier to tune, great idle, good gas mileage when not in vtec. The minimum compression needed is 11.1. I plan on getting them in the future.

The M22x is actually quite a bit different from the Pro1, they have a completely different powerband. To the creator, in all honesty I think the BC4's will give you more midrange because the primaries are larger, but the M22 would catch up with the BC once vtec engaged and could possibly pass the BC4 on the top end. Both are great cams, the M22 is gonna idle a little better but give you the same power up top. We've never compared these two cams and I've always wanted to see them against eachother. I might try to do it this fall or winter, we'll see. I personally run the M22x in my car and I love them, the car never wants to stop revving.

M22XX would solve the midrange...

I would go with a M24x cam. Those primaries are pretty nice and make awsome midrange and of course good up top. I really like the primaries on the M24x good profiles....

He doesn't have the displacement or compression for M24's.

In the correct motor, I would consider it one of the most cost-effective upgrades.

Yes, as long as you have a good intake and header...headwork would help allot also.

The S2/Blox cams do make power, but I would personally put the M22x up against a S2S2/Blox B in any motor.

there was aguy on here that made 244 wit blox b's on a b20 vtec wit nothin really crazy done to it. ive seen lots of dynos wit these cams makin good power. if u go in the marketplace there is one sponsor who sells the blox b's for like 400 or 425 shipped. also, ive heard nothin but good about rockets cams.

Blox b's are a good cam, I mean they are a skunk 2 copy, which is similar to the Jun 3 , which is arguebly the most versitile cam around, but this is not to say that newer cam technology hasnt lead to cams which make more power over a broader powerband.

That said... I would like to think that the m22 and/or the bc4's would make more power.

He would've had to had some aftermarket pistons in that, and was probably around a 12.1 c/r. With a good header and decent intake, yeah 244 is believable, but nothing the M22's couldn't do also.

Blox/BC cams are made in Taiwan, RM's are made of Crower blanks.
