FYI:
BLOX sells the same exact cams from the same exact manufacturer as skunk2. Just at a reduced cost. You can get the Pro 1's for $400 in a BLOX Box vs $600 For them in the Skunk box.

i have NOTHING against blox , but, if you think for a SECOND that david shee (sp?) isnt blatantly ripping skunks designs off, then your living in a dream world.
if you knew the WHOLE story about how blox got started you might think differently.
Blox does what alot of companies do, they copy someone elses design, source it overseas, produce it cheaper, an ***** it out.
they Do NOT USE THE SAME CASTING TECHNOLOGY THAT SKUNK2 DOES, PERIOD. thats why skunk2 cams cost more, they do the R&D, they spend more money on their testing, they have better castings, coatings, you pay for that. and they back it up with a warranty.
Blox, is simply the same product, inferior design as far as casting goes. Thats fine, some people dont want to shell out the big bucks. Just like Hytech, some people would rather buy the Rage header, which is not the same as his header. if people would rather spend $650 than $850, then, thats their call.

I agree what BLOX and UGR does is a blatant copy of someone elses R&D and should not be allowed. But its also hard to swallow the extra $200 in cost.
If you were able to enlighten us all on the Whole story there would not be this mass confusion that I and others have.
I was told by WHOISDAN that the cams come off the same exact production line, with the same production process.
Why were you selling Skunk Cams in a Blox box, were they Used?

[QUOTE=crixzc]Not to question you don, but maybe you could shed some light to as the differences. I was always told they cams off the same EXACT line.[/gain.QUOTE] Why would a company with an exclusive deal to make products for a big company, sell to another? With all the developement spent on a product, can they just sell to another? I do not think so. If I developed a product and then it was available by a jack-leg copycat company on E-bay, I would never do business with that Mfg. again.

its not my place to tell the story, if you ask the right people you can find out. im not here to start anything
BTW: they may come from the same factory, but , i know skunk has a facility they use in the US, dont take my word for it, call Skunk2 and speak with Joeseph, they are more than happy to explain to you their cam making procedure. tehy are very proud of it

I would have to guess Taiwanese greed, and lack of patent. Im sure it is possible that Skunk2 no longer deals with this company.

I love how the guys on the "inside" keep the information on the inside. Who would be the person to clear this up?
If my more expensive product was superior to another similar product I would sure be ready with proof that this is the case. Untill then its just your word, and why wouldnt you claim this, you sell Skunk2.
I would guess (as I do not know) the US skunk2 facility Is used for development and race parts.
