You would eventually need shocks, because the stock ones will only last you so long, on a lowered stance. You'd also need a camber adjustment kit for at least the rear, possibly up front as well.

wouldnt your front camber kit be important duw to the fact of handling, my rear camber is pretty bad and the front looks legit but in reality, if i were to not rotate my tires, the front ones wear quick as all hell even though they appear to be fine...

Well, in reality, if you're not pounding the throttle, your rear tires should wear faster when you're lowered without a camber kit. As you lower the vehicle, the angle of camber increases at a faster rate in the rear, than in the front. So, huge camber problems occur sooner on the rear of the vehicle.

Any signs of the front tires wearing quicker than the rear, is just showing that you're on the throttle more often than most.

ground control makes excellent coilovers and probably the only sleeved coilovers i would buy. just make sure if you either want to run aftermarket struts at the time u lower your car or never because ground control offers 2 different sets: one that goes with OEM struts and one set that goes with aftermarket struts.

as for camber issue, i been lowered for 25k miles + with no front camber kit but with rear camber kit. rear tires wore out within the 20k miles due to no alignment. the front had VERY MINOR wear on the inside of the front tires.

nothing an alignment cant do that a front camber bolt cant.

lowing... lol

i suggest getting a whole new setup, the ride is harsh with just the coilovers and like toyomatt said your going to need new shocks eventualy. Im up to that point right now and it sucks.

Yeah, my sister's EM2 is getting that way as well. It's no fun to ride the bus.
