Default JUN ultralight flywheel

I was looking through all JUN stuff today and came across this. This flywheel weighs 5.2 lbs. I know most ppl say that the fidanza lightweights are fine but this is insanly light...does anyone know any drawbacks of the flywheel being this light ?

You better change gears fast, bc the revs are going to drop quickly. Not sure about streetability with something this light.

Damn that is light...1-2 shift would suck. It's kinda rough with my 8lbs..but hey what a 3lb dif? Give it a try and let us know.

Oh and if I am not mistaken the JDM flywheels tooths are a lil diff...they like the JDM starter (only something I heard cause I have a JDM starter and it works fine with a Fidanza wheel, so I don't know if thats true or not.)

^^ I just posted about this in another thread..

There's two actually..

Jun L/W (Lightweight) and U/L Ultralight weight Flywheels?

L/W = 5.5kg
U/L = 5.2kg

They're expensive also.. Around $450 I think?? Not for sure, but that's what I've seen..

I had one in my Prelude and loved it. Nothing to compare it to though.

^he probably means he hasn't been able to try another flywheel to compare it too.

its not a wear item so most ppl just buy one and live with it until they wreck/sell car.

if you really want a jun, well by all means get a jun, but if you want a cheaper alternative........there are plenty out there with high praise

<- 8lb findanza owner

Not only do you not understand JUN's website, but you don't understand posts here on HT either

I meant I'm not going to say "oh my god its the best there is" like a lot of people do when they haven't tried anything else.

Jeremy are you driving a Prelude again? You sold the beautiful blue one right? /snifsnif

I sold my 5gen and bought a 6 speed Legend coupe about 6 months ago. I still miss the lude terribly tho.

WTF are u talking about ? You said it doesnt compare to anything, that can mean alot of different things. And what are you talking about i dont understand JUNs website .... ?? I said that it actually weighs 11.464 lbs because thats what it converts to in lbs. I dont get where you get that from. And me not understanding posts ....... if asking questions means i dont understand then you urself have alot of learning to do. A person who asks questions, is a person who isnt afraid to learn and isnt proud and doesnt think he knows it all. Im inquiring into different things that i want to know more about but if i get ******* answers that will not help me or many others who also want to know about the same topic, especially if that topic hasnt been covered before.

He said he had one and he loved it, but he had nothing to compare it to, because he did not try another lightweight flywheel.
