Well i have been going threw smog with my 2 cars for the past 2-3 months.. and i figured it out basically.. lol..

-First change ur chipped ecu to a stock p28
-connect pcv system
-def. get ur v-tec oil pres. switch hooked up
-change ur "high flow" cat to a SRT-4 cat... it drops ur numbers SOOOO low helped me out
-and maybe buy a new O2 sensor... also helps out a lil

What motor do you have in your car that your getting a bar label for? usually running a stock ecu your is best suited to past the test, and the as far as the cat goes use a stock car or what ever motor you have in you car right now. Change those headers because there hurting your reading because cd are ceramic and those dont hold heat very well so your not heating the cat enough especial its a high flow cat, hight flow cat material inside is very short. I use to work at a referee station in whittier. this is why i know, especially me because i was tougher on people who had hybrids because i know what there hiding. good luck

I'd guess its the cat & being too rich. NO isn't as bad as the rest (meaning not lean). CO & HC are high meaning rich & bad cat, with a fuel issue. Fuel issue could be the chipped/untuned ecu, air filter, and/or o2 sensor.

Well no **** you are going to fail! all that **** is a dead give away for a fail. cmon man you should know better than that.

You have been on here long enough to have picked up a few things about smogging rides. get rid of those p.o.s dc headers, get a stock computer, get that srt-4 cat (optional), go buy an f-ing bosch universal O2 sensor from kragen, and go and take yur car to the ******* ref. Get the damn swap certified and then throw all that **** back on.
God damn people, there are all you dudes out there swapping motorrs left and right and **** but you dont understand the basics of how the damned thing works.

That ecu is meant for performance so the timing will be different and the fuel maps will be too. those crappy dc headers are a prob because they cant hold any heat, heat is good for warming up the cat faster and for those of us who are obd0, heat is what makes our o2 sensor begin the work faster.

END OF TREAD MAN!!!!!

dont dis the DC sport headers.. i got them on my car right now and just passed smog.. first i took the car and put some of the "gaurenteened"to pass smog **** in and then got it tested.... FAILED!!! then i went and put my srt-4 cat on (hella big cat) that i used on my other hatch and then just retared my timing about 2 degress by moving the dizzy back and it passed with flying colors.. i got the cat for 50 buxs on a srt4forum.. u can find them anywhere from 50-100 buxs

ok you dont need to keep making threads man. i have given you numerous bits of advise but it appears as though you just arent listening. as i said in the other thread, your problem is most likely your shitty ECU.
