I thought that they where in the oil pan. I bought a si oil pump and was planning on putting it in the ls block but I couldn't find anything that looked like the si oil pump in the oil pan.

 

it's bolted to the drivers side of the engine block. you have to remove the crank pulley and timing belt to remove the pump...........

you know the oil pick up inside the oil pan? the oil pump is on the other end of that.......

i hope you have a helms manual.

it's machined into the side of the block.......there are 5 or 6 bolts holding it in....you have to remove the crank pulley and timing belt and timing belt covers.....once you remove those you will be stareing right at it.........
