help removing tranny

Default help removing tranny

So i finally bought my b18b today and everythin was goin great. until i realized how heavy the bitch is. im thinking of remove the tranny and it will drop some weight. i see that theres a series of nuts all around the tranny that looks to be attached to the block. can i take those out and the tranny willpop out? is there gonna be a big mess of trany fluid when detached. any help will be appreciated, i have to take this heavy *** **** to the third floor!!!

You must first drain the tranny (bottom drain bolt on the passenger side) so that all the tranny fluid will come out. I suggest getting some buddies to help you carry the tranny and motor before you bust your lower back. Then it will really take you longer to do your swap.

drain the tranny fluid then remove all the blots there are a couple of them like 8 around that area not sure then one u have them all out you might need to get a rubber mallet or something and break it off the motor the blots are pretty self explanitory you should see them all
