Default GSR swap or D15B turbo

Okay fellas I have a '89 civic sedan with a D15B converted to OBD1 I/H/E and a chipped P28. I was thinking of doing a GSR swap cause I already have the mounts and shift linkage, and adding a skunk2 intake mani, JG throttle body, AEM cold air, ITR header, and a 50 shot of N20.
Last night my friend suggested I stick with the D15B add D16Z6 head studs cometic head gasket and boost it, Thus leading me to this poll. Well let me know what you guys think.

TIA

I doubt it would, this being about d15b turbos.

the real question is, what do you want to do?

IMO id go with the gsr. but its going to cost more to do then boosting your d15b. but if you look into it, a stock gsr puts out ~180 horses, a turboed d15b MIGHT put out maybe 200 horses depending on how much boost. the gsr would be a lot better platform to build off of, and if you turbo that thing, you could easily push out 300 horses, but again its going to cost more than a d15b build

but again, it depends on what you want to do, if you have the cash i would go gsr. not saying anything bad about d series, yes its not very expensive to build and boost a d series and run circles around these b series with bolt ons. but b series are just a better base motor

raise the compression on the d15b to 11:1 and turbo it.

FAK, lol.

I just want to get feed back from both d series and b series camps, If I go with the D it's gonna be boosted, if I go with the gsr it's gonna be bolt on's with a 50 shot and I have no plans on boosteing it not even later down the road.
I've had both a d series turbo and a b series with bolt on's and one with boost, like i said just want feedback from you guys since I've had both and don't really favor one over the other.

Hahahahaha...
high compression + turbo + no fuel managment - dyno tune = BOOM!

I seen a guy at the track last year with a EG running a B20 boosting at 10 psi with no fuel managment wondering why his car was running 16's and backfiring like a ****.
