Last night I was coming home and I noticed my speedometer wasn't working then a minute later I had a cel. Tach and everything else is still functional and the car seems to drive fine. First off I have a p28 ecu with a d16z6 motor 90 crx si. I got home and checked my cel's and this is what I found, code 20 Electrical Load Detector, no problem I've had this code for a while..only appears when cel wire is jumped. Second code I get appears to be code 36??? Code 36 doesn't exist to my knoledge so I'm posting this video of my cel's to help try and clear things up. Any help is appreaciated allot. Check your speed sensor. When it dies (cable falls out or if electronic, sensor died) you throw a CEL.

 

Speed sensor huh, Where can I find this sensor. Thanks for the prompt reply...

 

VSS was loose. Problem solved. code 17 vss. THank you very much ludesrv.
