Default need some help folks

ok, as some people know i got a crx with a b18b1 in it that has a 11.1 compression ration. I want to get rid of the high compression so i can boost it. I was thinking about getting some low compression pistons and leaving the head i have on there now. (shaved 30 thousandths and has mild port and polish) I'm stuck though because a friend said that if i leave the pistons in and put a stock head my compression will be 10.5, and that gsr's and type r motors are higher and get boosted all day.

So, now is where i need some help.

Should I :

1- Leave type r pistons in and get a stock head and get more power from less boost.

or

2-Put stock or lower compression pistons in with the shaved head or stock head and have more reliable car and something i can put lots of boost on.

Thanks,
Jake

Simply cause it's easier, and cheaper. LS heads go for next to nothing. Most people throw them out after an LS VTEC swap, which produces a scrap B16 block and a scrap B18A head. Good luck.

Option one! Because then if you decide to go back to N/A you only have to do a little bit of work and still have some rad parts.

I have been given LS heads from 2 different shops. Now I have 5 LS heads sitting around, I used one as a test bed so I only have 4 good ones left. So option one

Exactly, hence why I have used them for test beds and given them away. Too much BS in the shed already.
