Default Strut Bar quailty?

Ok so i've got a 92 Integra that's close to stock and i want to do a few things to it. One of them is strut bars. I want to get one in the upper front and upper rear of my car, and i'm wondering, is there a certain make or model i should look for? Or does any old one do the job, like this cheap one off ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...QrdZ1
And also, will the upper rear bar get in the way if i have passengers in the back seat? Thanks in advance for your help.

MUGEN! PASSWORDJDM! OBX! wellz most strut bars are the same... js if u get a bootleg non-brand name its gonne bend on you... strut bars dont help u do better corners and all that... strut bars just help supporting the frame from bending... and also looks good...

They help with frame rigidity. Most of the ones for the trunk don't hit the back seat but some do. You can also get a trunk brace, well you could actually make one. It just feels more solid in turns and such, atleast thats how it felt when I got the rear strut bar for my old teg. Try a search about strut bar performance and benifits. I don't know a whole lot about them.

ebay strut bars are usually ok. there are a couple plages in the civic forum faq that compares them w/ other pricier bars and they ebay ones are overall ok. they will not bend or hurt your car in any way

I was under the impression that strut bars help a lot with handling?

strut bars will help stiffen the chassis. sway bars will help in cornering. both are important.

strut bars are NOT a waste. you may not notice much of a difference once installed, but it is helping your car. putting a larger swaybar on your car will probably get you to notice a difference in how the car handles.

here is great article describing strut/tie bars for a g3 teg. you can apply the same things for a g2 teg...

here is another great article describing swaybars...

if you have more questions, please feel free to ask.

You can spend your money on better things .. like gas, or food

The only front strut bar I could see making any difference is the 3point passwordJDM one.
you're better off going elsewhere with suspension mods for what it will do.

Will that still rip apart the subframe? Will the tiebar soport it as well as it should? I dont think it will.

not if you have a subframe reinforcement kit( beaks/bsq)
i've never heard of an integra having an issue with subframe tearout it is mostly 96-00 civics. but get the beaks/bsq kit to be sure

Correct if im wrong, i believe with the bsq/beaks kit dont you have to drill the holes, whereas with the ASR you dont have to. Direct bolt on.

beaks you just need to enlarge the abs holes. it is really easy to install when done properly. i dont know about the asr kit though.
