i have a sohc vtech in a del sol
should i build it and turbo it or should i just put a b16 in it?
any ideas

 

whats your budget? goals? what do you want to do with the car?

 

about 5 or 6 grand and i would like to make about 200 whp

 

this question is asked way to often. research all of those options and then decide for yourself

 

i dont know what the best decision would be

 

honestly get a ls motor and boost that. especially if you have 5-6k.

 

do sohc.... if you blow it then you can find another one in your couch cushions...... they are a dime a dozen my friend!

Get Sleeves... etc... etc... and you have one ******* awsome motor.. if you have 5g's to 6g's to spend.. but since your asking... what to do.. you have no clue... so just search or read faq

actually the B20 runs alot better with a GSR head seeing is how the chambers are squared,
B16 heads flow alot better on Ls motors.

H22a with boost. Or, b18c with boost. Your call, both are good motors.
