setting timing question...help QUICK!!!

Default setting timing question...help QUICK!!!

alright the chilton manual says to jumper a (green/wite)(one wire) and brown connector to set the timing.......the problem is, i cant find these color wires....i have a 2 terminal open plug with brown and black.......and there is also a 3 wire connector......it's the worng color wires too.......is this 2 wire terminal the correct one to jumper..i believe the car is canadian too......so maybe the colors are differnet? any help anyone?

If it says jump a 3 wire connector, that's what you do. Jump a 3 wire connector. In many honda markets, wiring is different.

no, it says to jumper a 2 wire connector..and i dont wanna jumper it and blow the ecu.........is it a blue connector?

You jump the connector thats by the pass kick panel to check your ecu. Then use a timing light to see where your at.

there's a 2 wire connector and a 3 wire connector, i plan on using a timing light to check it, i just need to know if it's the right connector.....is it a blue plug wiht a green plastic insulaton over it. is it the 2 prong or 3 prong connector. it's a 1994 civic ex, d16z6

Oh, I misread, my bad. just to confirm.... the 2 pin connector is the one you want.
leave the 3 pin connector alone.
