Sol has been out of commission for a while (D15B7 "s" model) so I finally got a lil money together and went down to a local shop. The guy there said he had a non vtec D15B (obviously JDM from lack of suffix) and that it was from the same year...would be a direct bolt in.

It now appears that they may have given me an earlier year engine that is Carb'ed! My del Sol, for further clarification...is not carb'ed. Argh!

So what should I do? Should I do some kinda head swap? Take the engine back and go on a waiting list for a new engine? Is there some kinda conversion I can do? Thanks for your help guys, and I apologize for my ignorance!
