I have 17x7's on my car, they will fit. When lowered however there will be clearance issues with the fender liner and fender liner. It will bottom out on the wheel well on corners and bumps. I"m not sure of the offset

yes, but 17's are to big for a honda (I think anyways), put a nice set of 15's on it and then you won't have to worry about clearance problems. I had a 95 coupe w/ 17's on it and kept burning through inner fenders, I also put three sets of fenders on it thanks to my wife hitting big bumps while turning to fast.

x2. I had 17x7s on my 92 hatch when I first got it....now I'm on 15x6.5 with 195/50s much nicer ride. With the 17s expect to feel EVERY little pebble on the road and to have a large indent on the roof of the car from heads hitting it. Not only will a smaller diameter ride more comfortably, it'll also be cheaper too!

well, they say go 15"s.......if you feel like you gotta have the bigger rims.....then go with a 16"...... from what i have heard......they dont have clearance issues if you get the right sized tire.....and they give you that big rim look.....just my .02 cents..

the size rim and tire your asking about will fit fine . you will need a 40- 42 mm offset and you wont have any problems. ive got 17 on my eg and nobody thinks their gay as *****. their is a post on this in the apperance section right now you should check out. oh and my car is lowered about 2.5 inches with no rubbing of inner fenders or anything else.

If your novel, tentatively titled "Through the Eyes", is filled with such eloquent words it should just fly off the shelves. Keep up the ***-Whooping, genius.

OP, 16's would be about a big as you should go. 15's are ideal IMO.

17s need a big drop. At least 2.5 to look ok.

do yourself a favor and buy a set of blades/ meshies/ fat fives locally for about the price of two of those 17" wheels( $300). then spend your remaining $ on upgrading your suspension.

stock height civic's look ok w/ 15s and no drop, but way better w/ a drop. it's more the combination of seventeens and stock ride height that gives it a "4x4" look.

^^^

What the expletive are you trying to prove? that your car has turbo? who gives a expletive? There's tons of cars on here that are turbo and are faster than yours. You can barely tell the wheel fitment anyways so why show off? Go to the cosmetics forum if you want to do that.
