Default Removing an alarm - questions.

Is this a DIY job for a relative newbie?
What's involved?

All that's involved is tracing each wire back to it's connection, cutting the connection and insulating with tape. If there's starter kill hooked up, you'll need to reconnect the starter wire that was interrupted.

So the alarm isn't wired in to the wiring harness in series it's wired in in parallel, except for the starter wire?
That should make it easy.
Thx.

What? Most alarms are installed by simply splicing into the existing wiring, or "t"ing into the wire...

You have the right idea yes. Make sure you reconnect the starter wire.
