ive been racing/showing my 240 for over a year now. I miss my EK hatchbacks (ive had 3 so far this one being my 4th) so i decided to buy this 1998 CX and build it as my daily fun car. plus i miss driving a decently quick car while my 240 is down at the moment waiting for my RB to be built. This thread will be updated as my hatch progresses. i have to get the car done by august 14th in time for me to drive to florida for vacation.

I bought the car for 600 bucks. previous owner just didnt have the money or time to fix it. it was wrecked in the front and rear passenger side. previous owner thought he would just get a new core support and bolt it on . see how far this thing was off





rear passenger side quarter panel is messed up but its an easy fix.




the windshield is also fucked up


these pictures were taken about a week ago. now onto today. the car came back from the body shop where i got the frame of the car straightened and the front end of the car aligned and fitted. 99-00 front end was used instead of the 96-98. once the car came home me and a buddy got started working on pulling all dents of the car. we would have had the rear quarter panel fixed but im waiting on my stock rear bumper to come in so we can align everything properly. for now we did little bit of work on the quarter panel. it will be finished once the bumepr arrives

tomorrow the windshield guy comes and replaces the windshield for me. the single cam screamer will be coming out very soon and will be replaced with this badboy






this is where my build is at currently. lips and CTR wing as well as the rear bumper are all on order right now. wheels will be ordered once the car comes back from paint. J-mags are the wheels that are going on. i know there is alot of rota haters but i cant justify paying for the real deal when this is my daily and it will take some abuse. ill leave the real expensive wheels for my 240 ,...99-00 hatchback taillights are also sitting on the floor in the garage as well as EX cluster and some other misc. ****. i will keep this post updated with pics as the car progresses. wish me luck. thanks for looking

car will be wet sanded and ready for paint this week.

 

nice 240, haven't seen anyone with the s15 headlight on a s13 body for awhile now, most are going with the jdm s13 front.
