Default Foglight problem... switch doesnt light up and fogs dont work..

ok i here weve got an eg hatch.. i bought fog lights.. and installed them.. now i wired the yellow plug into the fuse box under that dash and grounded the black wire... the red wire is going through the firewall to the fog lights which is met up with another red one, now there is another ground.. right by the foglights.. and then it plugs into fogs and then plugs into other fogs... and then it goes up on the oppisite side towards the battery.... the relay switch is connected there and then the other red wire is connected to the battery... lol its confusing but thats all i can say i dont have any pictures cause the car is with my bro on base.. so... if anyone can help me please do so... and dont worry i got my flame suit all suited up
o yeah the fog light switch is on properly but it doesnt light up.. so im guessing it has to do with the wireing under the dash.. just shoot me some advice.. thanks guys..

Is the yellow plug going to the fusebox in the right spot?

That's what controls the switch to light up. I had the same problem with my foglights (well, not the switch lighting up itself) but the fog lights not working. I still haven't gotton it to work.

what kind of a switch is it? oem, or a switch that came with the fogs? if its a switch that came with the fogs you might have the wires switched up, or the grounds are not making good contact, i would say just check over everything again.. good luck

Also, try your read defroster switch. It's the same type of plug, great way to tell whether or not it's the switch.
